1942 Chevrolet Pick-Up

Transmission : Automatic
Mileage : 50628km
Colour : Red

1942 Was a big year in history with World War 2 in full swing and U.S Car Manufactures switching from building Cars to building War materials, so the fact that Chev still produced this beautiful truck is amazing, This Chev falls into the AK Series of light trucks, and these were produced from 1942 until 1947. These Trucks shared their platforms with the GMC Truck and the AK Series Chevy Suburban and several of our vehicles.
Coming to our example, she started life probably a humble farm truck or a workhouse for carrying loads to market, and its family to church on Sundays, with the engine being a 3,5 Litre straight-six and a 3 spd manual gearbox. Today she is a far cry from standard, she is a Resto Mod with a lot of bells and whistles and her former self could only dream,
Dressed in Burgandy and Black two-tone paint job she looks stunning showing off her beautiful curves, but that is only the beginning of the Resto Mod Story,
With new Heart in the form of a Small Black 350 Engine, with a bit of bling and a lot of life blown into her 8 Cylinders. Starting her, she roars to life, but purrs smoothly like a kitten when driving around. This beautiful engine is mated up to a 350 Turbo Gearbox with a B&N Shifter, assisting this a smooth delivery of the power to the wheels, and this is where she really is different to her former self,
The ride and brakes are provided by one of the best standard suspensions ever built AKA from the Jaguar XJ6, and anyone that has been in a Jag they will know its smooth, and has great brakes.
The Interior is dripping in leather finishings and has been updated to with modern gauges from Dolphin giving it a classic look with plenty of telemetries to monitor the Revs, Speed, Temperatures and pressures of fluids, She also has been given a good sound system from JVC to pass the time while cruising around catching looks from other road uses,

Yes she is stunning and easily usable for your daily milk drive but is the happiest catching looks on the roads and car shows.

If Resto Truck life is something you are looking for this is definitely up your ally, give us a call for more information

Price is slightly negotiable and interesting tradings all welcomed.
