Welcome to our newly acquired future classic BMW Z3. This car is not to be overlooked as their value is on the rise and fast becoming a collectable Vehicle.

So let us give you a little insight on the Z Series and some interesting facts.  The Z3 Roadster began its life in the development in 1991 but only came to the market in 1995. These cars where solely built in the Greer BMW Plant in Southern Carolina. They were built until 2002 when the successor in the form of the Z4 came to market. Here are three more facts about the Z CARS from BMW, the Z in the Z Series stans for “ZUKUNFT” in German meaning future and this was and is fitting for the BMW Range of Z cars in the Z1, Z3, Z4 and Z8 as they were and are ahead of their of the times in open sports cars.

Each one of the Z Range has a had some screen time in the JAMES BOND 007 movies, and they even built a special Bond edition.

And lastly the Z3 has won wards like the “Design of the Year” in 1999 and “Best Overall Value Car of the Year” in 2000.

Let’s come to our vehicle, she is a great sports cars that is looking for a new home and to bring smiles to her new owners. There is a little love that is required to get her back to pristine condition but saying that it’s a mechanically sound vehicle with the solid 2.8 straight six under the hood matched to the ZF S5 manual gear box and no driver’s aids, making it still a driver’s car with 142Kw at 5300rpm with a marvellous song for the engine.

The road holding is taken care of  with a set of 17inch alloys and the E36 front suspension and the rear from the older E30 which when it was new was controversial but turned out to be the better choice for the overall car.

The interior is neat, tidy and a wonderful place to be in with the top up or down, but it does need a little work on the seats. As to drop top, it works perfectly but the plastic window needs replacing.

She has a sound body, and the paint has had a little work.

This BMW Z3 is an all-round good vehicle, that is looking for a new garage to park and new open top adventures to gain valve on. For more information contact us.
