2011 Alfa Romeo GT (Tipo 937C) 3.2 V6 Race Car

Transmission: 6 SPD Sequential Gearbox
Mileage: N/A
Colour : Red

We all know the Alfa Romeo is dripping in a rich history of Motoring and the often manufacturers bring back icon names from their past, and here is a prime case of Alfa calling back on the racing history with the Grand Prix Cars from the 1950’s that was raced by names Juan Manual Fangio and Nino Firina. In the 90s Alfa Romeo has quite some success in DTM Touring Cars taking on the German BMW and Mercedes Benz car’s, which our GT pays homage to.

So let’s look into our gorgeous ALFA GT Race Car. The Alfa Gran Turismo was the last Alfa designed and styled by Carrozzeria Bertone, only 4244 units of the 3.2V6 version were produced worldwide from 2004-2010, and the GT was the last Alfa model produced with the “Busso” V6 engine. Approaching the end of its production life, the Alfa GT was proposed in special Limited Edition versions intended for sale in some markets, and this is where our car has its roots
Built to take on the South African Endurance Series by a group of guys that are very passionate about cars and racing, they created this beast of a Front Wheel Drive GT. Naturally, to run with the big boys in the series they upgraded and modified the engine to put out 240Kw on the wheels. With this sort of power, you need to find a means of traction in the form of the Bachi Sequential Gearbox (Flat Shift Switch) and a limited-slip diff.
To handle the corning on our race tracks the car is fitted with Bilstein 147 GTA Shocks and a fully adjustable suspension. The team didn’t stop there and upgraded the rear hubs with larger bearings as well as fit the car lots of extra’s to make racing the car easier and simpler.
These items include a MOTED M800 ECU and CDL Dash Module, and no Endurance car would be complete without a built-in Air Jack System for those all-important tyre and fuel stops,
Talking about fuel the car runs on a normal pump 95 octane fuel and has an extended tank for endurance racing that can be removed for Sprint racing.

Here is a list of extra’s that comes complete with the car

Spare Rims x 8 Spare side shafts for GTA box
Spare front hubs 147 GTA Gearbox
Spare engine complete Spare headlights.
Intermediate tyres

Well, if you are looking for a great race car that you can run in SPRINTS like the ALFA TROUPHIO or for the long run of SA Endurance Cup this is the Beast to have. The sound of the V6 Busso engine with the Quick Shift Box is sure to excite you and have you wanting for more while chasing the likes of Cobra and Lambo’s as well as beating your own times, this is the car for you.
